I read this over on AO3 back when the challenge opened, and this is still awesome, and it still makes me go OW, in so many ways. The canon relationship between Peter and Neal is so steeped in privilege; Peter saying that he owns Neal in this context is totally squirm-inducing in the bad way.

And I didn't notice this the last time I read it, but:

Neal squashed the urge to ask if he'd once stolen something of hers – thanks, Peter, for instilling that impulse in him

That's awesome, and brutal. Awesome because it's brutal.
