Finally found a slow weekend morning in which to read this properly. Just wonderful. John's moments of working through difficult aspects of his past and present family relationships, his ebbing and flowing homesickness, the comfort he finds with Cam and Alex, Alex's occasional emotional instability with lost attachments, Lorne (and Colby), all had me teary-eyed and smiling.
