That sounds like a really lovely story actually - if you ever find the link again, I'd love to read it :) And yeah, a lot like my version of Cam and John as well - in my head, they've ben in and out of each other's lives for years before the stargate program, and so it's kind of inevitable that they end up together when they're in the same place (sort of) for a long period of time; except I'm not sure they'd have the realisation, really. I think other people do, but the two of them never actually do because...well, actually, I don't know why, but in my head, it never happens.

Except for in that one story I've half-written in my head, which has a similar moment (it's my favorite part of the story, and I haven't even written the thing yet!)
