This is really great. I love how hesitant and awkward they are, which fits the situation really well. Lorne's always seemed like he's a lot more self-assured than John is, but he's also a lot more, um... level-headed? Not-batshit-crazy risk-taking? And in this kind of situation he'd be a lot more hesitant and so it works well.
