I read them and realised they depress me - I do not think it's a gift for John if Rodney "saves" him after all and takes him in hand. I wasn't kidding when saying I came to find the dying soothing and fitting in a way. They do not deserve him, IMO, so to "redeem" him and graciously let him join Rodney and his team is an unhappy ending, and devalues that John and his life and death. I surprised myself realising that but I could go on for hours about it now.

I'm sorry but - observant? .... to me it was obvious, but then even the look he sent after Keller was seen as professional and just to show she was with the FBI and even still-frames wouldn't make the non-seers believe. Soe maybe Rodney is married to Radek, or he has the ring to fend of his many adoring female followers while really being single, or he is already divorced but couldn't get it of his finger.
