The first thing I thought after watching it was haven't I read this fic before? ;p

I thought fandom would be melting down over the wedding ring (Katie Brown would be my guess). I'm ok with this John dying--IMO, Rodney/the SGC had no intention of offering him passage to Atlantis. John seemed like someone who wanted to die but didn't want to pull the trigger themselves.
