I'm sure it says something unhealthy about my obsession with the pairing, but it's so *nice* to be writing John/Cam again (apparently, I haven't since the end of February). Maybe because I don't have to think so hard about how I want to write them - or not, since this is an AU.

In other words: I finally started my lgbtfest fic (what? It's not due till June, that's ages!), which I even sort of know what's going to happen, for once.

WHN is coming, slowly. I might try to finish it when I'm on holiday, if it's not done by then (I don't go until August), and yes, it's a joint sequel/prequel so it'll go into John and Alex on Atlantis.

Yeah, that's pretty much the jumping off point - from there to a bad sexual experience in a John-focused story I already wrote, to him having a bad time generally,in the background of a couple of other stories, to... well, this.

And I make no promises about Cam's eventual fate, one way or the other!
