+ive things (Day 3)

1. I auctioned off a short story that I'd write to someone else's prompt, for a charity I volunteer for, and apparently it went for £52, to someone who wants a story for his new baby niece

2. A colleague and I wrote an article about our summer campaign for an industry journal, and we got our contributor copy of it today - I'm really proud of us :)

3. Cast the Cards was released today, in which I had a short story published; it's a classic me-style angst story, in which a young lecturer tries to avoid falling for a navy officer because she's been hurt before.
