Talk to me...

Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] zelempa:

"I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your journals, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Some of you I don't know at all because I didn't friend you back (yet?). Perhaps you haven't been around for long, perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you for your interest in my words.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: 'Ah, there's so and so...'

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal and see what gems of knowledge appear."

Or the people who I friended, and who friended me back. Who, if they're anything like me, won't remember who friended who first anyway :)

In other words - I have essays! Please distract me!

Well, if you have essays I can only oblige and distract you for that little bit longer *g*

I talk to books I'm reading, TV shows I'm watching and have had to train myself not to talk during movies at the cinema because I get hit - often and hard.

And when I say I talk to the TV, I don't mean in a normal way - I greet the characters as they come on screen and have very one-sided conversations with them. I scare people until they just find it funny and then damn annoying *g*

I have my tongue pierced. Have done since I was 19. My mum asks me at least once a month when I'm going to get rid of it *shrug*

I do that too! I thought I was the only one! And tell them what they should be doing, and that what they're doing is not a good idea... I talk out loud to myelf as well, quite often when I'm walking around in public, which is definitely not a good thing!
