Woo-hoo! Broke the 10,000 word mark on my big bang fic!
Not that that means a lot, since I have no real idea how long it's going to be. Over 40,000 words by quite a bit, though, since we're really not very far into the plot.

I'd love to post a scan of my current plot outline, which I ended up writing on the train home earlier in the week: it's all scribbles and arrows and question marks and couldn't look less like a plan if it tried. It started with trying to figure out what I wanted to do when it came to writing the episodes that happened, and then I had one of those lightbulb moments and wrote a plot for the whole thing. Well, kind of - it still has things in it like 'need to have met Larrin by this point' and 'Lorne and Mitchell on Atlantis', but it's as close to a plot outline as I'm likely to get.
Though, here's one to ponder: Lorne and Larrin, when she picks up the jumper, rather than John and Larrin. Pissed off and kind of guilty post-Tabula Rasa Lorne. How would that go?
Also, I need to stop giving things stand-in names, cos they tend to stick. Which is the only possible explanation why the mission to rescue Elizabeth is called Operation Yet-To-Be-Determined. Which really can't stick, but which I can't get out of my head in order to come up with something that can.
