So John's thinking that Cam's just looking for anything to help him forget and he's afraid of things getting awkward
Yeah, and worried that Cam's in no fit state to be starting something complicated.
Can't you just imagine John held down, struggling desperately, while they inject more drugs into him.
Even with SG-1, he still manages to find disaster everywhere he goes. Though the thought of SG-1 trying to reassure Cam is kind of disturbing.
