#12 I think he'd definitely be in the land of did-not-need-to-see-that (there are some things you just *do not need to know* about your boss). That said, I think it's less unflappableness (is that a word?!) and more of an automatic response to the surprise. I mean, I can't see Lorne gasping in shock or something like that, you know, so he just says the first thing that comes into his head, and this is kind of an automatic response to interrupting someone, whatever they're doing. Eh, YMMV :)
