This was lovely. The idea for the ancient device was cool and it was amusing to see everyone so used to alternate universe people showing up. Having Cam as a civilian worked well, too, because I could see him doing something like this if he left the military. I that with a bit of experience he'd be good at the job. It's also like him to end up sorta-kinda seducing alternate Lornes - and like Lorne that he ends up getting laid instead of tied up and beaten like, say, SG-1 or Sheppard would. *g*
