I love this a lot, and somehow have not managed to leave feedback yet. It's such a quiet, still piece of work, and that's so wonderful, especially with the momentary flashes of laughter as Nate works his way back to being the person he is when he's with Brad.

Nate’s getting used to a little fucked up as his baseline. Love this line! Not only because I strongly relate to it, but because it says a lot about who Nate was before Iraq, and how that changed him, made him a little more accepting of life's oddities.
