I hate writing Christmas cards with nothing interesting except 'love me' in them, and then giving them to people I'm saying happy Christmas to in person (it's a thing, don't ask. I'm obsessive, it's one of my biggest personal flaws and one of my most useful traits in my work). Usually, I do it anyway, and feel resentful about it (which is weird, cos when I was a kid, I loved writing cards, it felt like the start of Christmas).
This year, I decided to hell with that and bought 60 bars of soap through Oxfam to be sent out to a country in need of, well, lots of things, but soap, also. I dunno, it appealed to me with soap being a typical Christmas present.
I also bought a box of Oxfam chocolates, and the idea is to give everyone I'd give a card to a chocolate instead.
Which won't work on you guys, since they'd get squished in the post, so if you'd like a Christmas ficlet (since I'm not offering up cards like most people, even though I actually won't see any of you in person to wish you merry Christmas), leave a pairing and prompt and I'll see what I can do, and post it in response to your comment nearer Christmas.
Um, this is probably a good moment to note that my mother said the other day that I'm not happy unless my life's complicated, and so I make it so. I suspect this is an example of how true that is. Whatever, I don't care. I'm taking 14 older women to see young men in uniform play musical instruments and be silly on Sunday, I have tea and chocolate spread, and I made a man who annoys me greatly bend to my will earlier. Life is good (if complicated).

If you're still up for it, I'd love to see a ficlet with Ford/Keller (from your "Hold On, Here We Go" 'verse; I know you're not much for het, but most-adorable-couple-on-Atlantis could be compatible with G-rated, too), or Mitchell/Sheppard with a side of Ford/Keller!
