Someone just searched for one of my stories on sgastoryfinders.

I totally didn't realise it was mine until gaffsie commented to link the OP to it.

Which would bother me less, if it hadn't been an oddly accurate search, for storyfinders.

I feel this doesn't bode well for me being coherent at 6.30am tomorrow!

She is, and I do. Well, did, since it was yesterday - I was helping staff a polling station, and ability to match numbers to a series, then to each other, then to a name, was required, which doesn't sound that difficult until you're doing it for 15 hours straight!

Wow, gaffsie sure knows her fanfic! I would never have recognised that story. Actually, I'm not sure I've ever read it--likely it was posted after I broke up with McShep. *g*

She certainly does - better than I know my own, apparently! And, no, I don't think you ever read it. Though it amused me that someone read it and commented that, until they remembered it was a mcshep match fic, they were cheering for it to become Cam/John, which amused me greatly

That's happened to me before! I definitely recall reading some fic or other, and starting to cheer for a pairing, only to realise that the real pairings were listed in the headers and it wasn't going to end like I wanted. *pout*

OTOH, there are the stories that explain outright that they're going to fake you out, like that Sheppard/Woolsey fic for SGA Secret Santa that was always going to be McShep.
