+ive things (Day 2)

Well, that's a good start, I already missed a day! But today is happier

1. I went into town to run a couple of errands and ended up buying three Christmas presents - I think everyone is going to get a mug this year! Also got some painkillers that I can take with my anti-depressants, so I don't have to curl up in a miserable ball once a month (no ibuprofen, which worked fine but I can't have now)

2. Carved my pumpkins - one into a triangle face and one sort of pentagram - see how it looks when it's lit up tonight (yeah, I know it's a day early, I don't care)

3. Cleaned my flat, did laundry, bought food. Threw away a pile of old leaflets. Feeling very accomplished (and tidy)

I'm sure there was something else, but I can't think what it was. Off to try to write more of my sheppard_hc fic - 3000 word minimum, what was I thinking?!

Christmas shopping!!! omg I haven't even THOUGHT of that yet. Ugh.

Usually I do all my Christmas shopping in one day, at the end of November, as I haven't previously had a car and my parents have always visited during the second weekend in December and taken all my gifts back with them. Doesn't seem to be working this year though

I like the sounds of the pumpkins! (I think we're going with Frankenstein's monster this year, but we're going to cheat and use a pattern.)

And yay for you for starting Christmas shopping. I've barely thought about that yet...
