Woo hoo! It's not even my country, but... don't ask don't tell just got repealed in the US! welcome to the twenty-first century, American government - we're only a decade into it, but better late than never, I guess.

That's freaky, because the post below this one is actually about 'hang on, doesn't fraternisation still apply?' because everyone seems to be leaping into 'woo hoo, now John can sleep with anyone with no potential repurcussions' and I'm sitting here thinking, 'even if whoever isn't military, surely if it's a team-mate there'd be some kind of rule about not doing it?'

Though, since I'm a Cam/John shipper, I'm now angst-free (other than them living in other galaxies, of course!)

I can't wait :) Actually, my beta for Let It Grow didn't realise DADT (still) existed and was mystified by Cadman and vega worrying about being found out. Be nice to have to answer that question a lot more.
