Oh my God, I'm so behind on my SGA reverse bang - it's due on the 13th and I have 6000 words. How did this happen? I do not do well writing really close to deadlines!
Which is not to say I won't make it, but yikes, talk about disorganised (for me).
Especially as I'm going camping this weekend, for the first time in memory (apparently we went when I was tiny, but I don't remember it). A little nervous, but I think I'm looking forward to it - going with my girlfriend and 15 other people, which would be okay but the whole girlfriend thing is a little... rocky is the wrong word. In a weird place.
But I do get to work on my lollipop tree project, so could be worse.
I wrote 2000 words of reverse bang last night, so I'm aiming for the same tonight. But in the interests of me having other things to think about when I need a break...

my favourite male character: When I'd only seen a couple of episodes, I thought it would be Daniel, but Cam won me over very early on
my favourite book/season/etc: I think the Ark of Truth movie - not so much Daniel and the Priors, but Cam and Sam on the ship, I loved
my favourite episode (if it's a tv show): The one with the museum off-world and Vala always being prepared to liberate treasure!
my favourite cast member: Ben Browder seems like a nice guy, but then Amanda Tapping seems cool. Can I have both?
my favourite relationship: Cam and Sam. I love their friendship
a character I'd die defending: Carolyn Lam. Not that I'd be much good to her, I don't think, but I like her relationships with her parents, and not being a main cast member makes her more at risk of dying... and now I'm over-thinking it, right?
a character I just can't sympathize with: Landry. He just creeps me out somehow
a character I grew to love: Teal'c. I didn't find him that interesting when I started watching, but the Jaffa politics made him more interesting to me

my favourite male character: Colby. The spy story-line made him so much more interesting
my favourite book/season/etc: Season...4, I think. The one that started with Colby on the ship?
my favourite episode (if it's a tv show): I think the one where Edgerton is in prison. Or the one where they solve a kidnapping in an hour. Lots of everyone being smart, and not too much Don-angst!
my favourite cast member: Maybe Judd Hirsch? I don't know any of them very well
my favourite relationship: Colby/David! Totally should have hooked up on screen
a character I'd die defending: Amita. She's brilliant and warm and funny and gorgeous (and needs to dump Charlie asap)
a character I just can't sympathize with: Charlie. I know we're supposed to, but he's so... he wants everything the way he wants it and can't see anyone else's view sometimes (like with Amita's diary - it's treated as so normal that he should decide what she tells him, and he's so wrong. He squicks me so badly in that scene)
a character I grew to love: Nikki. I couldn't wrap my head around her at first, but she really grew on me by the end
my anti otp: Amita/Charlie. Dump him, and find someone who treats you like a person, not an extension of him! (Which I shall one day write, I swear)

my favourite male character: Steve. I want to hug him since pretty much the first moment of episode 1
my favourite book/season/etc: season 1, I think - season 2 had some great episodes, but I hated Kono's storyline in the first few episodes, and then the killed Jenna :(
my favourite episode (if it's a tv show): I think the season 2 Hallowe'en episode - everyone was great in it, it was funny, and I like Danny's ghost at the end
my favourite cast member: I can't pick - they all seem lovely
my favourite relationship: Steve and Catherine, I think - I like the fairly casual nature of it, the mutual respect, and that she's pretty willing to roll her eyes at him when he's pushing things
a character I'd die defending: Jenna! She needed someone to help her so badly!
a character I just can't sympathize with: Adam. Seriously, if you don't want to be a criminal, just stop being a criminal!
a character I grew to love: Lori, mainly, I think, because fandom hated her. She was kind of wobbly at times, but they all are, and I like that she spoke up to Steve about her feelings instead of pining away (in the end)
my anti otp: Kono/Adam. I just want her to find a nice surfer boy (or girl) and have cuddles without the angst and drama

West Wing:
my favourite female character: CJ, although I have an abiding love for Ellie (and like to pretend the whole 'oh god, she could be seen as gay, quick, get her married' thing never happened). And Joey Lucas, actually, also. And Commander Kate. And McNally. Okay, stopping now, I swear!
my favourite male character: Vinnick, weirdly - I like him for his principles, even if I didn't always agree with him, and because he seemed like a statesman, which santos didn't to me
my favourite book/season/etc: Season 7 - I really liked all the campaigning stuff, and it had so many great women in great roles (though the last episode makes me cry every time)
my favourite episode (if it's a tv show): Once again, I can't remember the name - the one where the three Bartlet sisters come home for Christmas
my favourite cast member: Alison Janney. She's awesome!
my favourite relationship: CJ and Margaret. They didn't really get each other, but that didn't matter, because they made it work and respected each other anyway
a character I'd die defending: Donna, especially later seasons. And Amy - I liked Amy's total commitment to her principles and ideas, even when that hurt her
a character I just can't sympathize with: I think maybe Josh - I didn't dislike him, exactly, but I always wanted to tell him to grow up!
a character I grew to love: Donna. In the beginning, she was just Josh's assistant who pined after him, but then she slowly became her own character with more than just that going on
my anti otp: I don't know that I have one, actually. I mean, I wrote Leo/Josh, which I never would have expected in a million years, so I'm not sure there are any pairings I couldn't wrap my head around if I had to
