1. Agent Coulson, you are such a dork. Funny, a little intense, and a total dork.
2. Coulson saying to Hill that she should go to Tahiti made me totally see how the two of them could be sleeping together. Or really old friends who once did sleep together. Kind of loving it.
3. Skye, on the other hand, massively reads like Coulson's daughter to me, especially in the final scene. I know she's not, but there's something about the way he talks to her that sounds like a father who gave his adult daughter freedom and his blessing to pursue things he was unsure about, and is really pleased she's come home.
4. I want all the Melinda May/Natasha Romanov femslash please. And Natasha figuring out Coulson's alive because May's back in the field. And May and Natasha and Hill bonding over the idiocy in their lives.
5. The main cast is equal numbers of men and women - is it weird that that's weird to me? Really good, but unusual. Though I wish Coulson and Ward weren't both men.
6. I love Ward being wowed by May's amazingness, and also that May gets the angsty professional back-story - though if it turns out her trauma is that her boyfriend was killed on her op, I shall cry bitter tears of disappointment.
7. I like that there's a level of... I don't know exactly, age, experience, something like that, in the lead characters. Sure, there's Ward and Skye, but the experienced characters, May and Hill and Coulson, are the ones who get to be wise and right, not the young ones showing them what's what. And that when they say jump, the others do without a great deal of grumbling and arguing and acting like naughty puppies.
8. Hill: God, are you ever dismissed - hee! And he goes. I could get to like Ward if he keeps deferring to authority like that (not so much with the James Bond nonsense, if he keeps doing that, I reserve the right to hope someone kicks him int he shins).
9. Mike! Mike, you are awesome and I love you, and please join the Avengers and be deadpan and confused and a hero.
10. I don't have a number 10, I have a kitty curled up on my lap, purring, so I think that means I'm done. Or you can have the joke I got told at work tonight: why did the scarecrow win a Nobel prize? Because he was outstanding in his field.

I really want Melinda May/Natasha Romanova femslash as well! Actually, i would be fine with Skye/Melinda as well, because of a certain gifset where Melinda seems to eyefuck Skye and Skye stares back in worshipful awe. :D
Agreed on not wanting May's backstory to be a romantic one, but I'm going to trust Joss won't do that to us. If he betrays us like that, I will be bitterly disappointed but I'm trusting for now he's not interested in that kind of story.
Mike was awesome and I really, really want him back again with his superpowers and his adorable kid.
I still haven't made myself an Agents icon! Need to do that soon...
