1. Made a clutch purse to take to my friend's wedding in a couple of weeks - so much less difficult than the tutorial made it sound

2. Cut the pieces for the shawl I'm making

3. Bought my first Christmas present this morning - now if I can just manage to keep track of it between now and Christmas...

4. Broke 10k on my marvel big bang fic, and only have one scene left to write.

Feeling very accomplished right now!

How did you make the clutch? *impressed*

It was actually really simple - sew two rectangles of fabric face to face, turn the right way and sew up the hole. Fold not quite into thirds to get the shape, then start at the bottom left and sew all the way around except for across the bottom. Attach the fastening of your choice.

I went for 19 x 11 inch rectangles, to get a decent sized bag, and used a big wooden button for the fastening, since the bag is green.

Tracking bought presents is always fun, especially if you think you found better place where to put them and at this point it's a sure thing you'll have hell of a search party going when you finally need them ^^;

Clutch purse was surprisingly easy - ssewing ribbons to 1 inch strips of fabric turned out to be much more difficult (and time-consuming)!

i'm the worst for keeping track of gifts. I used to keep them all in a box, but even then, half the time I'd forget I'd bought something for someone until after the event I bought if for.
