1. What would you change your name to if it wasn't such a hassle to get all your paperwork redone? I'd remove the hyphen in my name, so i didn't keep having to explain that no-one actually CALLS me Emily-Jane (surprise surprise!)
2. What's a fandom you love that doesn't have nearly enough people in it? bend It Like Beckham
3. Share a dorky story about yourself. Oh God, too many to choose from (do you think it says something about fandom people that we nearly all said that?) How about the time I fell down the front steps of the school I teach at, in front of half the student body. That was pretty bad.. and it really hurt!
4. Where's one place you really want to visit before you die? America. And Prague.
5. Where would you live if money wasn't an issue? Germany.
6. How did you find this journal? Through ff.net, reading Ashley's stories to Kafanfic at yahoo, to a search on here. An epic journey.
7. What's your favorite community on LJ? L Word icons...so many pretty pictures.
8. What was your favorite childhood toy? Mrs Bunny, she was a big bunny shaped soft toy, about as big as me when I was two or three, and she went EVERYWHERE with us.
9. Name three shows you want to have on DVD right now. (Whether or not they're slated for release/have been released.) CSI, Without a Trace... OK, I don't really watch TV, actually.
10. Say something nice about:
-- Another LJ user (not me!) guede_mazaka converted me instantly to Tristan/Gawain
-- Yourself: I have nice handwriting.
-- A famous figure: Emmeline Pankhurst and the suffragettes are my heroes because they fought for someting they believed in and helped to change a nation.
11. What's the biggest "OH MY GOD!" moment you've ever had from a movie, show, or book? (Warning: using "I am your father" might date you.) The most recent is in an advert where a vase falls off a table and smashes - it makes me jump every time. Does that count?
12. What's something weird you enjoy that gets you odd looks from other people? The one time I tried to explain fanfic I got some pretty weird looks. Other than that - studying for pleasure.
13. When did you first get online? When I started uni, which was... god, nearly five years ago.
14. Name something you're really good at. I like to think, writing. And also organising.
15. Name something you wish you were better at. So many things...playing the piano, speaking German, finding a job...
