SGA 4.12 Spoils of War

You know, I can't remember the last time I watched an episode of this show without ending up going, "leave! Leave!" at my computer screen. Timing, anyone?

Also, John, pot/kettle much with the sense of direction thing? You can't tell the difference between east and west!

Yay, Lorne's back (have we seen him - actual him, not replicator him - since Tabula Rasa?). He's so lovely, with the knowing what to say to Teyla (I bet he's a great uncle) and the awkward looks in the locker room. I bet everyone was hovering there just waiting for an excuse to not have to be there for that conversation (is it rude to just stand up and walk out without permission from someone senior? I have no idea). Though, could we maybe have names for Lorne's team? They crop up fairly regularly, but I honestly have no idea if it's even the same people every week. Plus, apparently they're all mute, which must make for some very peaceful jumper rides - seriously, none of them ever say a word.

How cool was Teyla in this - I love that being pregnant actually gives her new and exciting ways to help, though I wish they weren't so set on implying that John's in the right here - she's a grown up,let her make her own decisions! I love the way she keeps making John hug her though. It's like she's accepted that he's never going to initiate contact, so she just does it herself - I need a hug, hug me.

Though, huh, a boy. I don't know why, but I wanted the baby to be a girl.

Finally - where the hell is Sam? Would it kill them to mention that she's elsewhere while they're planning these big dangerous missions with, you know, half the command structure of Atlantis and we never see her? A simple, oh yeah, she's gone back to Earth/themidway station/off to anothr planet for some reason would suffice. It's so weird that she's not there.

Yeah see this is me being jealous of the fact you got to watch the episode. I no longer have cable because we're trying to save money and so I'm kind of on a hair puller whenever I suddenly realize my show is on right that second and I can't watch it. What's the name of the guy that got Teyla preggers? I got to watch the clip where she tell Sheppard she pregnant on youtube and I could never figure out what the crap Ronon was saying. Although it would have been funny if it was going to be a girl and she did name her Ronon. Clearly though I need to go find screencaps of this episode so I can look at Lorne's team. I've only ever seen Parrish.

I have no clue what the name of Teyla's baby's father is - Ronon mumbles something awful when he says it!

I highly recommend joining ninth_chevron if you don't have SGA on your tv any longer, for reasons that will become obvious once you join :)

Who, as far as I can tell, has gone - I don't know who they are, but I'm pretty sure none of them are Parrish.

Parrish isn't on the team?! Then I'll just have to have Lorne's imaginary team that has Yoni on it, cause you know Yoni is truly awesome.

I swear it's like you're deliberately setting me up to get ideas! After you mentioned the scripts I decided to go see if I could find the transcript for that episode (which I did and the guy's name is Kanan and also Keller and Ronon?! Seriously? *falls over laughing*)but I saw the summary for the plot of the next Stargate movie. Not the Ark of Truth the one after that. So I got this idea in my head right before bed and it wouldn't go away so I could sleep! (with my first day of college the next day too! Waking up was murder) However because it was my first day all my classes were 30 minutes and then I was there for several hours after the fact. So me+idea+bored+oodles of free time=story outline. An almost complete story outline to boot! The point is I was wondering if I could bounce some ideas off you, because there are a few details in the story were I had no idea what was going on there but I knew they had to get to the next point. Like infiltrating Baal's mothership, I don't know how they did it but they did. There are a few other details like that so I'd really appreciate it if you helped me brainstorm a bit.

Ouch - late nights before college are never good (says me, gearing up to have one tonight).
