Someone convince me that I don't want to sign up to write Cam Mitchell instead of Sam Carter taking over leadership of Atlantis for sgabigbang. I could totally do it. I have a 'Cam on Atlantis' file on my computer. I could write 40,000 words of that by July. I could.

Except that it would have to be gen or John/Rodney.

I don't have that much will-power!

Unless... I wonder if background pairings are allowed in a gen story...

Do you really want to be convinced not to do Cam? 'Cuz I love Cam. Adore him. Huggle him.

Otherwise, um, I vote for gen.

Because *small voice* I don't like John/Rodney. Although I am probably the only one in the entire fanverse.

That was the rule when I wrote this - they're (hopefully) expanding now, so it could be Cam/John, maybe.

I really did at the time, but now, not so much. I've kind of got hopelessly hooked on the idea (it helps that so many people commented to say write it!). It would definitely be gen if it couldn't be Cam/John though - I like John/Rodney, but they're not my favorite pairing to write by a long-shot - I'd much rather write about John and Cam and Lorne.
