1. Starting with the shallow instead of finishing with it this time: I want the coat Teyla was wearing in the opening scene. She has some gorgeous clothes. The two of them teasing each other is sweet - stunned someone at his own birthday party?! Oh Ronon!
2. "Unless he just took him somewhere to exact a slow revenge." Way to be encouraging there, Woolsey!
3. Kanaan the stay at home dad while Teyla goes out to save the universe - this is a relationship I can get behind. See, SGA writers, you *can* write a logical, reasonable, in-character on-going relatinship when you try. So what happened with the whole Rodney/Katie thing? Also - Teyla and John, and a mostly rational discussion about what she should do, and not one mention that she has to uphold her respinsibility to any particular group. They couldn't have done that *last* season? (Hee - Teyla and John fight, everyone runs away!)
4. I think I'm actually getting to like Woolsey - he's pretty funny, but not stupid-funny. Though making John explicitly ask for permission to go through the gate is a bit power-for-the-sake-of-power. He's cute with Torrin though.
5. So - John's had time to recover from being stabbed in the stomach by a tentacle monster, but Woolsey's still unpacking? What's he been doing all this time?
6. "I assume you have the means to remote detonate from a safe distance?" No, actually, we just bring Lorne's team along so we'll have someone to leave behind to detonate from an *unsafe* distance.
7. OKay - actual plot: Ronon! And he's converted *because* he's strong. The one thing that he relies on, and it turned him into a wraith worshipper... This whole plot makes my heart hurt, as does Tyre blowing himself up. Not that it wasn't predictable, but... And the team watching over Ronon while he goes through detox - John and Teyla look like they're seconds from tears.
8. Kind of a theme, ending on someone in the infirmary this season. I love John handing over the sword though, that he *gets it*. Please tell me there are many people scribbling away at John/Ronon tags as we speak.
9. Huh, apparently I am going to end on a shallow note after all, and I know I keep harping on about this, but - what's going on with the military uniforms? Lorne and his team don't wear the new style grey uniforms like everyone else, they wear the old ones, and John doesn't wear a uniform that matches anyone else in the whole city, or anyone else anywhere (since Cam and Sam used to wear green or blue). I mean, if anyone's going to be all matching, shouldn't it be the military? Which, okay, I know this is a small thing to get hung up on, but I just want them to make *sense*.

I like this explanation. Every time I start wondering what's going on with the uniforms, I can just say, "clothes-eating moss" and be happy again :) My sanity thanks you!
