Your chances of winning a competition are significantly increased if, having written the story you want to submit for it, you actually, you know, submit it.
I guess anything's possible, but I would say the chances of the judges magicking it from my hard drive are probably minimal.
Which would have been a more useful realisation had it come several days before the deadline, rather than the day after it.
Sigh.
In other news: have just applied for a job which states, in the entirety of the advert: I need someone who can provide quality work in a timely manner each week. Please email with any prior experience.
