Do Atlantis or the SGC have a way of knowing where they're being dialled from, if someone doesn't tell them? So if say Todd the Wraith dialled Atlantis, could they tell what planet he dialled in from?

I'm inclined to say no, but I can't remember if it ever came up on the show to say one way or the other (or indeed came up in the eight seasons of SG1 I haven't seen, yes, I suck as an SG1 fan).

That's what someone suggested on the lj version as well - 'probably possible but we don't know yet' works for me in this case :o)
