[livejournal.com profile] lgbtfest is here again! Quite possibly my favourite ficathon of the year, for writing about characters who are LGBT being LGBT. Go, leave some prompts, if only because, right now, it feels like a lot of the prompts are coming out prmopts (could just be my perception) and it'd be nice to have some fic about what we do, you know, for the other 95% of our lives :)

I love lgbtfest, though it's going to take me a couple days to put prompts together. My brain is so fried right now. There are a lot of coming out prompts, and a lot of identity game prompts generally. It's interesting? to see what elements people are more drawn to. But also kind of frustrating. Because I'm all Gossip Girl-y/actor-ficcy right now, truly I just want to read stories about socialites and celebs living their non-public, some would say closeted, lives. And being okay with that.

But everyone else wants drama! and uncertainty! and ohnoes what if everyone rejects me! so I don't really think that anyone will write me that.

And I don't even mind drama? You're right, a story does need a little. But I think a character could be gay, and angst-ridden, without being angst-ridden *about* being gay. Y'know?

I'd try for Gossip Girl for you, but I've never seen it.

Aw, sentiment appreciated. I'll probably leave enough GG prompts for everyone, so it's okay. :) And I'm going to have to work on some more positive prompts myself. I like yours, the Pride parade one is intriguing.
