ladiesbigbang sign-ups open April 1 - a big bang (well, 15000 words) challenge for stories focussing on female characters.

The deadline isn't till August 1st, which is *ages* to write (about 1500 words a week).

I totally have a policy of '1 big bang per year only,' but I think I'm going to break it for this, and do my Keller/Vega season 5 au, because, like most things, it'll never get done without a deadline to make me do it.

You should totally break your policy! You've been talking about the Keller/Vega AU for months now, and I'd love to see what you do with it :)

Hmm. I've already signed up for way too many things, and I'm already defaulting on the AU Big Bang... but now I'm tempted to sign-up as well.

Well, you can hardly be blamed for distraction--you have so much going on all the time! Maybe a deadline is necessary to focus? I know it works for me, sometimes.

If I signed up it'd probably be Brightest Heaven 'verse, and yeah, I'd love some cheerleading. *g* I just pimped the comm in my DW--I really love that it's multi-fandom and multimedia. Hopefully it'll inspire more people to participate :)

It is. One of my colleagues laughs at me because I write down *everything* I have to do, because having it on a list is like having a deadline, and it's the only way I can know I'll get something done. Sadly, that sort of internal deadline doesn't seem to work for me and writing, I need one that someone else sets for me.
