I'm sure it says something unhealthy about my obsession with the pairing, but it's so *nice* to be writing John/Cam again (apparently, I haven't since the end of February). Maybe because I don't have to think so hard about how I want to write them - or not, since this is an AU.

In other words: I finally started my lgbtfest fic (what? It's not due till June, that's ages!), which I even sort of know what's going to happen, for once.

Any John/Cam is good in my book - the longer the story the better (subtle, huh?). "What happens next" of course remains among my all-time favorites, so a continuation is awaiting with the highest anticipation! (Is there a possibility of a prequel that shows us how John came to find his son??? Please ...????)

As far as "depressed John" is concerned - I don't think that would be too far of a leap. Just look at him at the end of EatG. One may say it's canon. But you CANNOT actually kill Cam, and you have to make him (both) better at the end. Promise?

WHN is coming, slowly. I might try to finish it when I'm on holiday, if it's not done by then (I don't go until August), and yes, it's a joint sequel/prequel so it'll go into John and Alex on Atlantis.

Yeah, that's pretty much the jumping off point - from there to a bad sexual experience in a John-focused story I already wrote, to him having a bad time generally,in the background of a couple of other stories, to... well, this.

And I make no promises about Cam's eventual fate, one way or the other!
