So, I decided to play this year...




Of these, I've written one (authority figure, John/O'Neill) as fanfic, and five (authority figures, film/photogrpahy, fucking machines, writing on the body, and voyeurism) as original fic. I'm not sure what that says.

I'm guessing I'll end up using this as an on-going ideas post, but I'm currently thinking...

Domestic/tradesman kink something to do with painting, like a room or a house, and ending up with paint in weird places. Possibly as a What Happens Next verse out-take, I'm not sure.

Photography something about someone (probably Lorne) getting off on being the one taking the pictures, except that that really comes more under voyeurism, so maybe a fic that covers both.

Gangbang John on Earth at the end of season 5, only it's a happy, positive thing, not something he does because of his issues over being the only one not coupled up or whatever. This will be angst-free if it kills me!

Gags since a line straight down the middle is looking most likely, this is kind of an obvious one to hit, but I don't know with whom - I really want to do happy fic for these, and I've written both John and Cam having issues with being constrained during sex, which rules them out. On the other hand, a military character is an obvious choice, so call it temporarily stumped.

Bondage, held down possibly for the middle square, possibly Davis/Lorne, first-time (after Clarity of Message)

Authority fiures which, talk about having a plethora of people to pick from, there's got to be something for that. I kind of want to go Cadman/Carter for it, and Cadman proposing it as a way for Carter to feel more comfortable with being in charge. Not sure

Hand fetish Amita has a thing for people's hands - it's what she first noticed about Charlie, and she loves the contrast (for her) of women's hands on guns.

Washing/cleaning someone gate'verse in the shower after a mission

Wet and messy David/Colby after a case that had a lot of rain and mud

Don't know for the others, so feel free to fling suggestions, bright ideas, etc at me.

Great ideas, all. I would love an angst-free John gangbang, especially the whole not coupled up situation! He celebrates his independence, even as he's happy for his friends' happily-ever-afters.

So much yes! I'm not sure I totally see it in canon, but I love the idea of John being happily single and occassionally hooking up with someone for a while, and it's not something that's an issue or upsets him, he's happy like that.

I really love your idea for the What Happens Next 'verse! A lot of these kinks push me into thinking up plots that are more... "aggressive" (I can't find the right word) than is common for shippy fic. But the domestic/tradesman kink just seems happier and fluffier, somehow :)

Love the Cadman/Carter idea too.

For gags, what about Ronon? I recently re-watched "Doppleganger", and his nightmare ended with him gagged and tied, and being buried alive. It'd be interesting to turn that around.

I think I know what you mean (though now I'm trying to explain I can't). I dunno, I think a lot of fic I've read before from this has been angsty or, as you say, aggressive. Which may be why I'm trying to be more with happy fic in what I write (and just in general - my original fic is often less angstfest so I figured I might try a transfer!)

Shaving could just be someone saving someone else's face and washing/cleaning could make for an intimate shower scene. Wet and messy... hmm - kitchen sex after a minor culinary disaster?

I could have sworn you wrote a story in which Cam got off on being held down. But I can't find it now, and so it might have been someone else who wrote it.

I'd probably write Lorne/Sheppard with Lorne in a gag, but Ronon could work too. Or Teyla could gag someone. I'm not sure who, but I could see her enjoying controlling someone else's ability to speak with all the times other people undermine her attempts at diplomacy.

It does sound like something I would write (and oddly feels like it's something I *did* write) but the only thing I can think of is the stuff that got cut from my N3 big bang, where Colby does. Wonder who we're both confusing me with?!

Oh, my issues with Lorne/Sheppard, let me ramble about them! No, but for me there's a lot of awkwardness around Lorne being in any kind of submissive position when he's having sex with John, if they're still in their Atlantis roles...though actually, that has plenty of potential for an interesting pre-sex discussion... Off I go to check the rules, see if I have to have them actually having sex (God, I suck at a sex-related challenge!)

Oh, I have issues with Sheppard/Lorne too, if it involves the chain of command. Actually, I have trouble with any relationship where there's sex between a superior and subordinate. If I were writing them, I could only do it if I put them somewhere else entirely, and long enough from Atlantis for those old roles to have faded (or AU, where they never existed). But I don't know if that's the kind of problem you have.

The story I'm remembering had involved John realizing he was holding down Cam's arms, and going to move, and Cam telling him not to. I think they were on Earth at the time, probably at Cam's place, but I can't remember the context beyond that. And I don't know who wrote it. Though if it wasn't you, it might have been from the first thing-a-thon, and I probably ought to go check that list.

Yeah, pretty much what you said - I tend to start them either after, like you, or before when they were the same rank and then hooking up again on Atlantis, so it's a little less...exploitative?

Actually, thinking about it, I kind of like the conversation idea. Lots of ways to inspire it--off-world adventures involving gags, or Sheppard walking in on Lorne with someone else (okay, that might not be Sheppard/Lorne, unless they're in an open relationship, but it could be an interesting conversation).

(I suck at sex challenges too. That's why I went with cliche_bingo instead.)

Yeah, it's growing on me - even with one of them suggesting it, and negotiating how that works for them with the issues that come with their rank. Dunno. Knowing me, it'll go off in a totally different direction in the end anyway!

I'm thinking there's the potential for a hot fic where someone accidentally picks up on their partner's kink, and has a conversation about it. Even if they never actually do anything in the story.

And there's the potential for an amusing fic if John accidentally walks in on Lorne and Ronon, say, and one of them is gagged, and John teases them about it afterward. Except that's probably contrary to the spirit of kink_bingo, and I don't actually think John would be inclined to talk about it later, unless he was sleeping with the person himself. More likely he'd pretend it never happened.

Yeah, skies said Lorne as well, and totally sent me careening off into Lorne and Sheppard having an awkward conversation about it, instead of Lorne and Sheppard having sex (I suck at sex-related challenges, apparently!)
