One half of a definitely open long-distance relationship with another man. Which will become a lot less open should the other guy ever come home Is that a conversation they've had, or is it just a kind of intuitive....thing, that they're open? (Wait, can I ask questions?)

Ideal mate: he's fairly sure he's already with his ideal mate, even if his ideal mate is too far away to even get on the phone Just, oh, and awww.

Five months ago, the morning before Evan left for an unspecified period of time, pressed too close to read each other's faces. Which may have been for the best. This just wants me to give them a happy ending. Likewise with the "biggest fantasy".

Favourite music? I can imagine the first time he caught the faint strains of something familiar on the radio, he bolted for the nearest toilet, and sat there shivering :(

And damn, the last one. Yeah. Now I just want to run away and given them a happy ending.

[This was kinda awesome, thanks!]

It's a conversation, though not one either of them enjoyed, and they neither of them really act on it. Between this, and the fact that for Colby Evan's his ideal, while Evan's answer seems more an explanation of why they're together than an articulation of his ideal, just makes me really, really sad for the two of them, as it doesn't sound like they'd end up with the happy ending I want for them.

I also think I should stop reading this, and go to bed, because I'm *clearly* reading far too hard into them :) This was a fun insight though.
