This story can fall off a cliff for all I care, if it means I don't have to finish the damn thing. I'm contracted on spec for it though, so not an option.

The sad thing is, I'm within a thousand words of the minimum WC (10,000) and I know what's going to happen and I just have zero interest in writing it. Why, why, did I write myself into an ending that involves more explicit sex? Don't wanna write it!

You know the last time I actually wrote a sex scene? November the freaking 2nd! So long ago that I had to look it up (and yeah, I know I said I was writing gay porn in the coffee shop last weekend, but they never actually got to the sex part so it doesn't count).

But if I finish tonight I get to go meme posting happy tomorrow. Yes, I have weird treats, wanna make something of it? :)

Any way you can put yourself in the mood? Look at hot pictures or listen to sexy music. Eat chocolate. Re-read a favorite fic or two with great sex scenes?

Those are good ideas. It is possible that my 'cheer up, jump around' soundtrack isn't the best for mood setting in this instance :)
