Making A Baby

This was part five, originally, of a five times Cam and John did 'normal couple' things, and it was bright and shiny and happy. But then I started writing it, and I was thinking about Cam, and how Cam feels about Alex not being genetically his. I hadn't thought much about it before, but the more I wrote, the more it seemed like this would, in some ways, be a big deal to Cam (and in others not matter at all) and the conflict between those two things, and the knowledge that he will never have a genetic child impacts on him in odd ways.

Also, though it didn't make it into the story, that John will never really be able to understand this, the same way Cam will never really be able to understand the way John looks at family, and for John, it helps that they're on an equal footing in this.
