Half of my [livejournal.com profile] 14valentines fics are done! Which, okay, when you consider they start being posted next Thursday really isn't that great, but I have something for the first six days (or I will when I finish the halfdone one in my notebook), and I can totally write the rest before then.

Maybe. While writing an essay, putting together a five minute presentation on my dissertation proposal, going to work, reading for my seminars, attending afore-mentioned seminars, doing peer-mentor training, writing a flyer about a conference, going out for the evening on my birthday and... yeah, actually, maybe that's it. Eh, who needs sleep?

So, update?

Day 1 Keller back-story - done
Day 2 Sora on Atlantis - done

See how it's one fic about each of the main women on the show, with bonus Sora in there as well? Clever huh *rolls eyes at self*.

All of which just leaves one question - since when do I not have anything to say about Teyla? The possibility to pretty much make up any bit of back-story I like, and I can't think of anything! It's just wrong :(

Hmm, definitely. Cos, they have a memorial tea ceremony, and she's the leader, she'd totally know how to do these things.

In my head, they do have weddings, but Teyla doesn't conduct them, they have someone else whose job it is to do that kind of thing, because Teyla's the one who resolves disputes, and so she has to be impartial, which she can't be if she conducted the wedding, because that's like tacitly saying that she approves of it.

And now I have a Teyla plotline, so thank you :)

That was totally my intent.
