So, I have two ideas for my Cam ficathon fic, and think I might end up writing both of them: one of them is definitely incredibly angsty, and I have no idea if it will have a happy ending or not (probably not) and the other is actually I think going to get less happy as it goes on.
I signed up to write for matrithon - Elizabeth Weir, what you leave behind - and I think I'm going to write my Elizabeth as FRAN fic from femslash09, which is sure to be a barrel of laughs!
Plus, I started writing the sequel to What Happens Next, and it's taken a sad turn in LESS THAN A PAGE. I didn't even think it was possible to make that universe really sad. If I start talking about killing off Lorne in this verse, one of you would stage an intervention, right (I'm not planning on killing off Lorne, or anyone else, just to clarify).
This is why I shouldn't write when I'm lonely. I just want to break everyone's hearts.

I thought What Happens Next was incredibly bittersweet, so I can see where it could take a turn into outright sad very easily. However, Lorne Must Not Die(Maiming is an option)! I am prepared to talk you off the ledge. :)

Yeah, that sounds like mine - 1500 words of goofy teenager hood, then, woosh, sharp left turn into angst and crisis and disaster, and it just gets worse from there.

Phew. I dunno - I was at a thing a couple of weeks ago with a lot of fake explosions which really upset the kid sitting by me, and ever since then, I can't get the idea of John and Cam with Alex at someone's funeral and the guns making Alex cry out of my head. Which is no excuse to kill Lorne, really, and really shouldn't be in the story anyway, because killing someone off is more than a passing comment. I'm taling myself out of it by reminding myself that if I kill him, I can't have him and Cadman meet up, which is working so far :o)
