Because I'm at work and have minutes to write and hence am very bored, and because my attempts at responding to this from other people have served only to prove that my memory sucks:

Part of being on LJ is inevitably gaining a number of LJ buddies. Unfortunately, as time wears on, it's easy to forget where all of them came from. Post this in your journal and have your friends respond with how they recall first 'meeting' you.

I think I found out about you after discovering the John/Cam a thon. Or maybe that's how I found out about that one... But I know it had something to do with that. I'm pretty sure. But what kept me around was your fantastic writing and of course the pretty Cam/John fics.
