Part of being on LJ is inevitably gaining a number of LJ buddies. Unfortunately, as time wears on, it's easy to forget where all of them came from. Post this in your journal and have your friends respond with how they recall first 'meeting' you.

No worries on summer of stargate. I have a committee meeting coming up soon, so I haven't really had time for much but work on my dissertation this week--I have to have something to show them.

Or we could just say that I'm boring and one track minded. I think I friended you first, though, for your Lorne/Sheppard series. Which will be really embarassing if I'm mixing you up with someone else, but I don't think I am. I read the whole thing in bits and pieces at work for about a week, which infinitely brightened *that* working week.

I think it was because of Colby/Lorne and you friended me in case I wrote more, and I friended back because well, you're awesome and I had cooed over your Lorne fics many times before but am both horrible at commenting and shy at initial contact.

Ha! Amazingly, I did *not* meet you through John/Cam, though that's certainly how I found you again. No, we were both in TWW fandom a couple of years ago, though I wasn't a huge participant beyond writing a few tww_minis fics. I remember admiring your writing then, as I still do today :)
